SELF CONFIDENCE – A SENSE OF CERTAINTY

CFMCRAE homepageWe all have a certain level of self confidence. Without self confidence we simply would not even attempt to do anything. So, what is self confidence really? Self confidence is your confidence or your sense of certainty in yourself. This confidence can be reflected in many different areas of your life and you might have confidence in certain areas, but lack it in others.

Brian Tracy, in his remarkable self confidence program, The Science of Self-Confidence, outlines the importance of self confidence in every area of your life. The ability to achieve your goals relies heavily upon your belief in yourself. Whether you believe you can or whether you believe you can’t, either way you will be right. What you believe and what you feel certain about is what you act upon – or what you fail to act upon.

We all need this sense of certainty in ourselves for the actions we want performing. Certainty makes us feel confident in our ability to deal with a situation. Without certainty we tend to hesitate as we are unfamiliar with what might happen. As human beings we ALL need a sense of certainty. If you lack that sense of certainty you will remain immobilized by your own lack of confidence.

I must admit that I was one of those people who firmly believed that one gets born with confidence. I mean, have you ever seen someone who is really self confident and truly self assured. They just seem so in control and so alive; as if nothing can stop them. Is this a ‘given’ or is it something you learn? The truth is that either way, we all want it and you probably can’t ever have enough of it. Only after investing in a good self confidence program did my perception of self confidence start to change – and thankfully so.

Self confidence is nothing but a state of mind. It’s an attitude that can be learned. Think about it – when you actually feel self confident it’s only a feeling isn’t it? It does not rely on anything outside yourself, but relies solely on the process of thought and on how you organize ideas in your mind.

By learning to consciously cultivate these attitudes you can learn to be confident. Like working out your muscles in a gym, they get stronger. You systematically, purposefully build confidence in yourself until you learn to rely on yourself without hesitation. Building self confidence is a cycle . The self confidence-cycle is self reinforcing – the more you act on your doubts, the more confidence you build, then the easier it is to just do what you want doing with a calm reinforced certainty. Then you will do more, be more, have more…and the cycle continues.

Investing in a good self confidence program will prove to be priceless as the process of building self confidence is not that straight forward. Self confident people have this ability to ‘switch on’ their self confidence in every area of life, even if they haven’t done something before or even if they feel fearful. Developing your self confidence has become an exact science. We  know the most confident people create that sense of certainty within themselves. This is not some quick fix or magic bullet strategy as some other self confidence programs might promise. It’s a quality that you must cultivate within yourself. What will change immediately though is your perception of yourself and that is the vital element in developing your self confidence.

Your ability to pursue your goals, to just do it and to succeed is directly related to your level of confidence in yourself and your own ability to be effective.

Regardless of what you want to be, do or have in your life – you will need self confidence. Without that inner certainty in yourself, you simply won’t have the necessary backup from within to be truly effective. Confident people radiate their certainty and they are attractive in more than one way. Self confidence is the key to turning yourself ON. Only when you learn to trust and believe in yourself can you really get the most out of yourself and activate your ability to create and direct your own life.

30 DAY MANIFESTATION – THE STEPS TO TAKE

CFMCRAE homepage

Reading books and going to seminars about The Law of Attraction is something that I have done for years and because of it I’m quite knowledgeable on the subject. However, I managed to attract a whole 0% of my desires for 2 of those years, all because I was so focused on the studying that I neglected to put what I had learned into practice. It was only when I came up with a system that I began to actually attract the means and resources to bring my desires into reality.

“All the breaks you need in life await within your imagination, imagination is the workshop of your mind, capable of turning mind energy into accomplishment and wealth.” – Napoleon Hill

In order to kick start the attraction process, we first need to penetrate into the subconscious mind, which is where the process starts. We only use 10% of our brain consciously in our daily lives; the other 90% is the subconscious mind which runs itself. The subconscious mind does, however, rely on the conscious mind for the input necessary to control our habits, behavior and the attraction process.

The conscious mind then, is in effect, the gatekeeper to the great library within our subconscious mind and only opens the gate to those thoughts that are deemed worthy of entry. How is a thought deemed worthy of entry? Simple. Through consistent, repetitive thinking of a thought and with sufficient emotional content attached to it, the thought will enter the subconscious mind.

“Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.” – Earl Nightingale

30 Day Manifestation

1. On day one you identify your desires. Do this by closing your eyes and asking yourself, “What is it that I want the most at this moment in time?” Wait for a few minutes and while you wait, focus on the question. Breathe deeply and slowly and keep focused on the question. The answer will come in time.

2. In a notebook, write down your desire. Underneath the desire, write out your visualization for the end result of already possessing it.

3. Find a quiet place where you will be alone for 15 minutes. Get comfortable and close your eyes. Rest your hands, palms up, on your thighs with index finger and thumb lightly touching.

4. Begin taking deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. Remember to breathe with your diaphragm which basically means as you breathe in, your stomach should puff out and as you breathe out it should contract. Every 2 breaths, utter an “ah” sound for as long as you can. Do this for around 10 minutes. Then fill yourself with a feeling of extreme gratitude. As you breathe in, imagine you are breathing in a powerfully strong, feel good feeling of gratitude and smile your biggest smile.

5. After about 2 minutes of that, bring your visualization into focus alongside the feeling of gratitude. Allow the visualization to play out until the final scene, using all five senses to experience it as you do so. Repeat an affirmation in your mind at the same time, such as, “I now have my new car.”

6. Do this meditation every day for 7 days.

7. Find a picture that represents your desire and glue it into your notebook, underneath your written desire and visualization. Every day, look at the picture and summon a powerful feeling of gratitude for having it already.

8. At the end of each day, sit down and write out a list of all the things you are grateful for on that day. This is important because it keeps you feeling gratitude which is important in the attraction process. It serves as the fuel for the desire to make its way to you.

9. Watch for signs and listen to your intuition because over the course of the 30 days, you will receive many promptings from your subconscious mind. Act on them and you will be 1 step closer to your desire. Ignore them and they will become overwhelmingly strong and you will be filled with a feeling of urgency. This is your subconscious mind urging you to take the action it has suggested.

“I’ve learned that I get blocked when my subconscious mind is telling me that I’ve taken the work in a wrong direction, and that once I start listening to what my subconscious is trying to tell me, I can work out the problem and get moving again.” – Walter Jon Williams

If you do this technique as I’ve instructed, you will without any shadow of a doubt, attract your desire into reality and you’ll be amazed at the power you have at your disposal. I have used this technique to attract desires many times over and it has never failed me. We have the power, it is up to us to put in a little effort and use it to attract the life of our dreams!

Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits

Stephen Covey and his 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

CFMCRAE Homepage

Dr Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People®

Dr Stephen Covey is a hugely influential management guru, whose book The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People, became a blueprint for personal development when it was published in 1990.

The Seven Habits are a remarkable set of inspirational and aspirational standards for anyone who seeks to live a full, purposeful and good life. Covey’s values are full of integrity and humanity, and contrast strongly with the colder logic- and process-based ideologies that characterized management thinking in earlier times.

Habit 1 – Be Proactive
This is the ability to control one’s environment, rather than have it control you, as is so often the case. Self determination, choice, and the power to decide response to stimulus, conditions and circumstances

Habit 2 – Begin with the End in Mind
Covey calls this the habit of personal leadership – leading oneself that is, towards what you consider your aims. By developing the habit of concentrating on relevant activities you will build a platform to avoid distractions and become more productive and successful.

Habit 3 – Put First things First
Covey calls this the habit of personal management. This is about organizing and implementing activities in line with the aims established in habit 2. Covey says that habit 2 is the first, or mental creation; habit 3 is the second, or physical creation.

Habit 4 – Think Win-Win
Covey calls this the habit of interpersonal leadership, necessary because achievements are largely dependent on co-operative efforts with others. He says that win-win is based on the assumption that there is plenty for everyone, and that success follows a co-operative approach more naturally than the confrontation of win-or-lose.

Habit 5 – Seek first to Understand and then to be Understood
One of the great maxims of the modern age. This is Covey’s habit of communication, and it’s extremely powerful. Covey helps to explain this in his simple analogy ‘diagnose before you prescribe’. Simple and effective, and essential for developing and maintaining positive relationships in all aspects of life.

Habit 6 – Synergize
Covey says this is the habit of creative co-operation – the principle that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, which implicitly lays down the challenge to see the good and potential in the other person’s contribution.

Habit 7 – Sharpen the Saw

This is the habit of self renewal, says Covey, and it necessarily surrounds all the other habits, enabling and encouraging them to happen and grow. Covey interprets the self into four parts: the spiritual, mental, physical and the social/emotional, which all need feeding and developing.
Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits are a simple set of rules for life – inter-related and synergistic, easy to practice and implement in practical life.

Comments From Me,

These 7 habits are very straight forward, easy to understand, but if you are like me, I am wondering what it is that holds me back from putting them ALL into action in my life. I know I am applying some of them in my life and feel great about that. Maybe someday soon I will figure this thing called LIFE out and have all the answers. What do YOU think. Have A GREAT DAY everyone. Love, Light as well as Many Blessings Bestowed Upon You All. Cheryl F McRae

Is This An Ongoing Issue For You? Low Or Little Self Confidence

This Is The Summary Of Life. Be responsible for chosen actions. Choose getting as well as staying accountable for happenings in life.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) – Jan 07, 2011 – I believe that having self confidence within ourselves is the greatest gift we could give ourselves as well as everyone we associate with daily. Imagine our day going smoothly, freely easily, effortlessly all because we would have that self certainty within, that inner knowing that we could and would have the resources to handle anything as well as everyone amicably.
Our rapport with anyone would be one of integrity and trust. Win win situations would abound. We would all have everyone’s best interest’s at our very heart center. Zig Ziglar said it best, “That if we help enough people get what they want we will have what we want.” There is a win win situation.
The question is “How does one cultivate that inner certainty, that inner knowing?” That question is one that resides inside us all, most likely on a daily basis. The answer is also one that also resides inside of us all as well as the decision to find that answer.
The bottom line….. making that decision. Doing whatever it takes to find the answer. Making the necessary corrections, staying on the course. Getting back up when the going gets tough. Loving yourself unconditionally as well as everyone else. Trusting yourself.
Dr. Dennis Waitley says “Winners Never Quit. We have all chosen to come here to this School of Life for Learning, in making that choice we are all Winner’s, Warrior’s, Wizard’s.
Always remember ” We Are The Champions.”

THE 11 FORGOTTEN LAWS

There are 11 Forgotten Laws that Bob Proctor tells us that by not knowing what these Laws are keeps our lives turbulent.

I have always wondered what was missing. With all the programs I have purchased, worked with and applied, there seemed to be a missing piece or code.

I have the 11 Forgotten Laws. Although I have not gotten through all 11, but I do not want to keep you from having this opportunity available for you right now.

Should you immediately want more information about The 11 Forgotten laws, click here.

I am excited for what these Forgotten Laws will bring into my life.

Good Day To All this fine January 6th, 2012.

This is just an update on The 11 Forgotten Laws. I have found these Laws to be very profound as well as thought provoking. The information provided is uplifting, inspiring, deep with hope, providing logical as well as spiritual understanding.

This is one paragraph on real thought that I would like to share. REAL THOUGHT is associated with the understanding of truth. Real thought is deep thinking which arouses dormant powers, quickens the perceptions, leading to the enlargement of understanding. Mere surface thought is ordinary, trivial, commonplace thinking, which is but a passing phase of mental activity. Real thought governs the life of man. This came from one of the 11 Forgotten Laws.
